Senior System Verification Engineer / Test Lead (Hands-on)
Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior System Verification Engineer / Test Lead with a strong background in system-level testing, integration, and release verification within complex software environments.
The ideal candidate has experience from recent assignments in system verification/test leadership roles, combined with a hands-on approach to testing activities. While leadership experience is preferred, this role also requires active contribution to testing and verification work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate system verification and test activities across multiple teams and releases
Define test strategies, verification scope, and test plans aligned with system and integration requirements
Perform hands-on testing, including system, integration, and release testing
Ensure test coverage, quality readiness, and verification completeness before release
Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and risk identification
Consolidate and communicate test results, quality status, and risk visibility to stakeholders
Support release readiness decisions with clear verification insights
Collaborate cross-functionally with development, integration, and product teams
Improve testing processes, methodologies, and quality practices
Required Qualifications
8–15+ years of experience in software/system verification and testing
Strong experience in system, integration, and release testing (V&V)
Proven experience from recent assignments as Test Lead / Verification Lead / Team Lead
Solid understanding of complex, highly integrated software systems (preferably automotive or telecom)
Experience in:
Test strategy & planning
Test coverage and verification scope definition
Defect management and triage
Risk-based testing and quality assessment
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Technical Skills
Test tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr or similar)
Experience with system analysis and requirements traceability
Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Python – nice to have)
Understanding of CI/CD and integration environments
Knowledge of software quality standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 – nice to have)
Preferred Experience
Automotive domain (ADAS, vehicle systems, or embedded software)
Experience in integration & release environments (CSIR or similar)
Experience in cross-team coordination in large-scale organizations
