Automotive Telematics Verification Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Telematics Verification Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team focused on solving systematic quality issues within connectivity and telematics systems.
In this role, you will work hands-on with troubleshooting, diagnostics, root cause analysis, and quality improvement activities related to connected vehicle solutions. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure robust and reliable telematics systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
Fault Tracing & Diagnostics
Investigate and troubleshoot systematic quality issues within telematics and connectivity systems.
Analyze:
Field reports
Technical logs
System behavior
Diagnostic data
Identify root causes and support corrective actions together with cross-functional stakeholders.
Connectivity & Telematics Engineering
Work with both onboard and offboard telematics solutions.
Support improvements in:
Connectivity systems
Telematics platforms
Embedded software and hardware components
Digital services
Participate in both new development and enhancement activities.
Quality & Verification
Monitor system performance and contribute to proactive quality improvements.
Support Electrical & Electronics-related quality investigations when needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of products, services, tools, and engineering processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
Platform Development teams
Digital Services teams
Connected Solutions organizations
Telematics platform teams
External suppliers
Lead smaller technical investigations independently while supporting team activities.
Required Qualifications
Experience
Several years of experience within the automotive industry.
Strong background in:
Telematics
Connectivity systems
Fault tracing
Diagnostics
Verification & validation
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Connectivity fault tracing
Telematics system design
Onboard component development
Offboard service/platform development
Telematics verification and validation
Technical Skills
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
Experience with:
Vehicle diagnostics
Log analysis
Communication protocols
Embedded systems troubleshooting
Knowledge of:
CAN / Ethernet communication
TCP/IP protocols
