We are looking for an experienced System Design Engineer with strong expertise in electrical and electronics systems design and system engineering. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams, drive system-level solutions, and ensure quality, readiness, and successful delivery throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires deep technical competence, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in system architecture, concept development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronics systems by identifying the purpose and aim of the system, component interfaces, and system behaviors.

• Deliver according to defined methods, expected inputs, and outputs.

• Lead system engineering activities within a technical team and play an active role in delivery.

• Drive work from an operational and short-term perspective while integrating deliveries from multiple stakeholders.

• Take responsibility for securing quality and readiness before release.

• Participate in specification implementation and verification loops to secure system aspects of the solution.

• Ensure that system and non-functional requirements are correctly implemented.

• Implement system architecture strategies and roadmaps up to delivery in the final product.

• Lead concept investigations with teams and steer exploration of alternatives to establish system-level concepts.

• Actively support the Product Manager in clarifying capability/enabler needs and breaking these down into features/enablers.

• Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and system architecture roadmaps.

• Lead concept investigations and drive concepts through approval in different decision forums.

• Request and define technical concepts and system solutions.

• Manage interfaces and non-functional requirements within the scope of agile release trains.

The successful candidate will be a recognized expert in System Design Engineering, typically obtained through advanced education and 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience in System Design Engineering or related disciplines.

• Strong background in electrical and electronics systems design.

• Proven experience in system engineering, system architecture, and concept development.

• Experience working in cross-functional and agile environments, including Agile Release Trains.

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
