Software Engineer – Energy Optimization
Within the Energy department at Propulsion and Energy, our client is shaping the future of electric mobility. They develop complete energy and charging solutions that make everyday life easier — and more sustainable — for electric vehicle users around the world.
About the Team
The Energy Optimization team develops market-ready home and fleet charging and energy solutions end-to-end, from early concept and technical strategy to production.
The team brings together software engineers, cloud developers, and energy specialists who work closely across architecture, implementation, testing, and with both internal and external stakeholders to build user-centric energy solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experienced cloud developer with expertise in DevOps, Java, Grafana, Kafka, AWS, and related technologies.
Proven history of integrating complex systems in cloud environments, with a systematic approach to optimizing performance.
Familiarity with cloud security in distributed systems.
Experience in event-driven architecture.
Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
Experience in energy systems is valued.
Passionate about sustainability, with a strong analytical mindset and an organized, structured way of working.
Driven by curiosity, continuously seeking improvement, challenging the status quo, and exploring new technologies.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and diverse teams.
Over 5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent knowledge).
Driver’s license (Level B) is required.
