Software Engineer – Energy Optimization
Within the Energy department at Propulsion and Energy, our client is shaping the future of electric mobility. They develop complete energy and charging solutions that make everyday life easier — and more sustainable — for electric vehicle users around the world.
About the Team
Within the Energy Optimization team, we take ideas all the way from early concept and technical strategy to market-ready home charging products, including backend solutions for smart charging services, APIs for partners, and enabling the integration and management of energy resources.
Our team brings together specialists from multiple disciplines, including software engineers, cloud developers, and PhDs who share a passion for building meaningful, user-centric energy solutions.

As a Software Engineer, you will:

Required Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Strong experience as a cloud developer with expertise in .NET, C#, Kafka, Azure, and related technologies.
Proven experience integrating complex systems in cloud environments, with a systematic approach to performance optimization.
Experience in cybersecurity within distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture.
Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
Experience in energy systems is considered an advantage.
A passion for sustainability, combined with a strong analytical mindset and a structured way of working.
A curious mindset with a drive for continuous improvement, innovation, and challenging the status quo.
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced, and diverse team environments.
5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent knowledge).
A valid Driver’s License (Level B) is mandatory.
