Data Engineer

Description of the assignment:

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong technical skills and practical experience with FME, dbt, and Databricks – and preferably Data360 – to support our data team Meter Management.

Tasks:

  • Contribute to the migration of data products from Data360 to other ETL/ELT tools, mainly FME

  • Develop data products using ETL/ELT tools

  • Train and mentor our data team in relevant ETL/ELT tools

  • Implement best practices in data governance, documentation, and testing to ensure data quality and traceability

Competency requirements:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

  • You have good knowledge of visual ETL tools such as FME and Data360

  • You have good knowledge of SQL and Python and modern frameworks for data transformation such as dbt

  • You would like to have some experience with Git, GitLab, and Databricks (Spark, Unity Catalog)
