Facility Support & Security Consultant
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Support & Security Consultant to support the Facility Management Team by delivering professional facility, operational, and security services while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient workplace operations.
This role combines hands-on facility support responsibilities with security and access management for office facilities. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across facilities in Gothenburg.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Support
Manage and coordinate physical storage facilities together with the Facility Management Team.
Conduct and coordinate office relocation activities.
Handle and resolve office faults and facility-related issues.
Carry out regular facility inspections and ensure office environments meet local regulations and safety standards.
Support day-to-day facility operations and provide ad-hoc operational support as required.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers related to facility services.
Support meeting room setups, office arrangements, and workspace organization.
Transport technical equipment and confidential materials between facilities.
Support operational activities that may require additional working hours or occasional weekend work.
Perform light to moderate manual handling tasks such as moving furniture and office equipment.
Security & Access Management
Administer and continuously monitor security and access systems including:
INTEGRA
ARX
Artifex
Manage personal data, access rights, card readers, and access zones.
Issue, update, and deactivate access cards and user profiles.
Handle special access requests in coordination with the Facility Manager.
Support security-related coordination activities within the Facility Management Team.
Act as the main contact for ID card systems and related suppliers.
Manage parking access administration and coordinate with external parking providers.
Ensure compliance with internal security standards and processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience working with:
INTEGRA Security System
ARTIFEX / ARX access systems
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in facility support, facility operations, workplace services, or similar roles.
Experience coordinating office relocations and facility-related operational activities.
Experience in supplier and subcontractor coordination.
Experience in handling security and access management processes.
Full driving license required.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in furniture repair and restoration.
Certification or experience with car lifts and lifting tables.
HLR / First Aid certification.
Evacuation training.
Experience leading teams or coordinating people.
Experience working in corporate, technical, or engineering environments.
