Embedded Software Integration Engineer (Senior Level)

Job Description

The Embedded Software Integration Engineer is responsible for managing and configuring the software platform and integrating application software components and the software platform into complete node software. The role includes verification of the software platform, including software build environment and continuous integration/deployment.

The Embedded Software Integration Engineer also develops the embedded software technologies and the software platform. The role involves leading ESW integration in a technical team and playing an active role in the delivery, including integrating deliveries from others.

The engineer is responsible for securing quality and readiness before release. The deliveries are often focused on the early phases of the development cycle, developing technical roadmaps. The role requires networking across the organization, as well as influencing the work at other sites.

The position includes developing acquired competence, as well as participating in business development.

Senior Level Requirements
(Position typically requires 5+ years relevant experience)

• Applies advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires +5 years relevant experience).

• Supporting junior team members and peers.

• Role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and developing others as a trainer and/or coach.

• May be digging deeper in own discipline, but is building broader T-shaped profile.

Embedded Software Integration Engineer (Associate Level)

Job Description

The Embedded Software Integration Engineer also develops the embedded software technologies and the software platform. The role involves leading ESW integration in a technical team and playing an active role in the delivery, including integrating deliveries from others.

Associate Level Requirements
(Position typically requires 0–2 years relevant experience)

• Applies theoretical knowledge typically obtained through education (position typically requires 0–2 years relevant experience).

• Applies knowledge to the world of work:

  • Onboarding, Induction to respective TD/BA, Transition Coaching.

  • Getting to know the business, understanding the ways of working and the group and TD/BA culture.

  • Learning about product streams and the contribution of his/her work within this, as well as the lifelong learning expectations in the group, TD/BAs.

• Empowered to perform and make a value-adding contribution to the assigned TD/BA ASAP with the benefit of ongoing support and supervision.
