Job Description

We are now looking for a Software Download / Vehicle Support Engineer, EE.

At EE Implementation Support, client mission is to provide support to projects with their test vehicles and rigs within the Physical Project Build Process.

Client provide this support based on our broad, deep, and solid knowledge of both the traditional and distributed electrical systems. This, in combination with genuine complete truck and systems knowledge, makes us an outstanding partner in a variety of EEE projects.

Main Responsibilities

As an SWDL/Vehicle Support Engineer, your main tasks include:

• Supporting the vehicle fleet with fault tracing and Software Download (SWDL).

• Supporting early-phase EE engineering activities.

• Performing software downloading/programming and parameter setting of ECUs.

• Troubleshooting complex problems in lab, rig, and truck environments.

• Providing technical support throughout vehicle and rig development activities.

Work Environment

The role includes a considerable amount of work across different facilities, both inside and outside offices/workshops, and involves hands-on work on trucks.

Working within EE Implementation Support provides opportunities to travel and interact with both dealers and end users.

Required Experience and Competencies

To succeed in this assignment, you should have:

• Experience working with electrical and electronics systems in vehicles.

• A good understanding of vehicle electrical architecture.

• Preferably, complete truck knowledge and a complete vehicle perspective to understand the product from an end-user standpoint.

Qualifications

• Experience from product development is considered a merit.

• Knowledge of CANalyser, Kola, Protus, PROTOM, Configurator, SE-Tool, and ClearQuest is considered meritorious.
