We are seeking a highly experienced Product Cyber Security Expert to lead cyber security concept development and risk mitigation activities for advanced embedded and connected products. This role focuses on system-level security architecture, cyber security risk analysis, and secure product design across current, future, and legacy platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with security architects, product architects, system engineers, and development teams to define robust security concepts, identify risks, and ensure security requirements are effectively integrated into product development.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber Security Architecture & Concept Development

• Lead cyber security risk assessments and threat analysis activities.

• Develop security concepts and system-level architectures for embedded and connected products.

• Define security strategies that balance business objectives, usability, cost, and risk mitigation.

• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to integrate security into product designs.

Security Engineering & Risk Mitigation

• Analyze complex product architectures and identify potential cyber security vulnerabilities.

• Perform architecture reviews and support secure design decisions.

• Develop mitigation strategies for identified threats and security risks.

• Promote secure reuse of architectural assets and security solutions.

Requirements & Documentation

• Create and maintain cyber security requirements and design documentation.

• Support decomposition of high-level security requirements into detailed engineering requirements.

• Ensure traceability between risks, security concepts, and implemented controls.

Technical Leadership

• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor within the organization.

• Mentor and support architects, engineers, and security practitioners.

• Drive adoption of cyber security best practices, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Contribute to organizational cyber security maturity and capability development.

Industry & Technology Leadership

• Monitor emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry trends.

• Build and maintain strong internal and external professional networks.

• Represent the organization in technical discussions and industry forums.

• Identify opportunities for innovation and future-focused security solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 12+ years of experience in cyber security, system architecture, or embedded product security.

• Proven experience performing cyber security risk analysis and threat modeling.

• Strong understanding of security architecture principles for embedded and connected systems.

• Experience developing security concepts and security requirements.

• Knowledge of secure system design, security controls, and risk mitigation techniques.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and architecture teams.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive, industrial, connected, or embedded products.

• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or similar standards.

• Experience with secure communication protocols, cryptography, authentication, and key management.

• Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security validation.

• Understanding of software development lifecycles and secure development practices.

• Experience in security architecture reviews and compliance activities.
