Business Controller
We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to join a dynamic finance organization and act as a trusted business partner to management teams. In this role, you will support strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, performance management, and business controlling activities.
The ideal candidate is a proactive finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive business performance and value creation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders and management teams to drive financial and operational performance.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Analyze financial and operational results, identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain financial performance indicators, reporting frameworks, and business metrics.
Provide recommendations and corrective actions based on financial and operational performance analysis.
Support investment evaluations, business cases, and profitability assessments.
Drive working capital management and cost optimization initiatives.
Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
Participate in financial review meetings and provide insights to key stakeholders.
Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic and tactical business decisions.
Lead complex projects and end-to-end finance processes with minimal supervision.
Coach and support junior team members when required.
Contribute to the development and implementation of finance policies, processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Business Partnering, or related finance functions.
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management.
Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in large international or matrix organizations.
Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or similar ERP and reporting tools.
Experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
Background in process improvement and project management.
