Digital Modeler – Automotive Design (Polygon Modeling)
About the Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Digital Modeler with strong polygon modeling expertise to join an automotive design team in Gothenburg. You will collaborate closely with Designers and Studio Engineers to develop high-quality digital models for both interior and exterior vehicle projects.
This is an on-site role where you will contribute to ongoing vehicle development programs as well as future design initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Create and develop high-quality polygon models for automotive design projects.
Work closely with Designers and Studio Engineers to translate design intent into production-ready digital models.
Support both interior and exterior vehicle development programs.
Ensure model quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
Participate in design reviews and cross-functional collaboration activities.
Required Qualifications
6–10+ years of experience within the automotive industry.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Blender
Maya
Alias SubD
Or equivalent polygon modeling software
Proven experience working as a Digital Modeler in automotive design environments.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with NURBS modeling.
Proficiency in:
Alias Class-A/NURBS
ICEM Surf
Ability to support both polygon and surface modeling workflows.
