Senior IT Project Manager – AI Platform Delivery

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale enterprise AI platform initiative. This is a unique opportunity to manage a live, business-critical AI program that is already supporting operational users and expanding across multiple business functions.

The platform is built on a secure on-premises GPU infrastructure and supports numerous AI-powered applications. Several solutions are already in production, while multiple additional use cases are being developed simultaneously by dedicated engineering teams.

This role requires a hands-on delivery leader who thrives in complex environments, can establish structure in evolving programs, and is passionate about driving successful outcomes through Kanban-based delivery management.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

• Own end-to-end project delivery across a portfolio of 12+ AI use cases.

• Manage project objectives, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and delivery outcomes.

• Drive execution across multiple concurrent workstreams and delivery teams.

• Ensure successful delivery against business and technical goals.

Kanban Delivery Management

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve a Kanban-driven delivery framework.

• Use Kanban as the primary project management methodology.

• Visualize work in progress across teams and initiatives.

• Monitor flow metrics and identify bottlenecks.

• Surface, track, and resolve blockers proactively.

• Drive continuous delivery improvements and process optimization.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate multiple engineering delivery teams working in parallel.

• Align resources and priorities across various AI initiatives.

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, replenishment sessions, flow reviews, planning meetings, and delivery reviews.

• Ensure effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage a diverse stakeholder landscape across multiple business units and technical domains.

• Act as the primary communication bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams.

• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery items.

• Ensure alignment between product owners, business champions, and delivery teams.

• Provide regular progress updates and executive-level reporting.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure projects comply with security, regulatory, and governance requirements.

• Coordinate security reviews and approval processes.

• Support adherence to enterprise information security management frameworks.

• Maintain delivery alignment with organizational architecture and governance boards.

Roadmap & Reporting

• Track progress against a rolling roadmap of AI use-case deliveries.

• Develop and maintain delivery reporting mechanisms.

• Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery performance.

• Collaborate closely with senior delivery leadership to ensure successful program execution.

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.

• Proven experience managing large-scale technology initiatives.

• Strong experience in complex multi-stakeholder environments.

• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical teams.

• Extensive experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and quality.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.

• Expert-level knowledge of Kanban principles, practices, and flow management.

• Experience designing and running Kanban systems across multiple teams.

• Ability to drive measurable delivery improvements using flow metrics and data-driven decision making.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and create structure in ambiguous environments.

• Experience translating business requirements into actionable technical work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Platform initiatives.

• Experience managing infrastructure or platform engineering projects.

• Background in highly regulated, security-sensitive, or compliance-driven industries.

• Experience working with enterprise security governance frameworks.

• Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, AI platforms, or advanced analytics environments.

• Experience supporting architecture review boards or governance committees.

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
