Infotainment Test Leader
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Infotainment Test Leader to drive verification activities for advanced in-vehicle infotainment systems. The role focuses on customer-facing features and end-to-end test execution across multiple development programs.
You will collaborate with infotainment developers, system engineers, UX/UI specialists, and verification teams to ensure high-quality infotainment solutions. This position requires both strategic leadership and hands-on involvement in testing activities.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change rapidly and is comfortable balancing long-term planning with daily execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate infotainment verification activities across development programs.
Define, maintain, and continuously adapt verification strategies, plans, and priorities.
Support and guide test engineers through daily planning, task allocation, and follow-up activities.
Ensure sufficient test coverage through functional and system-level verification, primarily at vehicle level.
Review requirements, test cases, test plans, and verification results.
Monitor and communicate test progress, quality risks, defects, and deviations to stakeholders.
Participate in vehicle-based validation and test expeditions in different markets and environments.
Drive continuous improvements in test methods, processes, automation, and team efficiency.
Ensure software baselines are maintained and updated for test vehicles.
Actively contribute to hands-on testing activities when needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience within automotive and/or infotainment verification.
Proven experience leading verification activities and coordinating cross-functional test teams.
Strong understanding of test strategy development, planning, risk assessment, and problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a dynamic development environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Experience
Automotive infotainment systems testing and validation.
Vehicle-level functional verification.
Test leadership in complex automotive development projects.
Experience working with agile development and verification processes.
Continuous improvement and test automation initiatives.
