Infotainment Test Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Infotainment Test Engineer to join a leading automotive R&D organization in Gothenburg.
In this role, you will be responsible for verification and validation of next-generation in-vehicle infotainment systems, ensuring that customer-facing features meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance.
You will collaborate closely with infotainment developers, system engineers, UX teams, and verification engineers to deliver innovative infotainment solutions for premium vehicle brands.
Key Responsibilities
Execute verification and validation activities for infotainment systems at vehicle and system levels.
Design, develop, maintain, and execute test cases based on requirements and feature specifications.
Perform functional, integration, and system testing in vehicles and test bench environments.
Review requirements, test specifications, and test cases to ensure complete coverage.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root cause investigations.
Report verification status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project teams.
Support test expeditions and vehicle validation activities in various markets and environments.
Contribute to continuous improvements in testing methods, tools, automation, and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality customer experiences.

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive testing, verification, or infotainment validation.
Strong hands-on experience with vehicle-level and system-level testing.
Experience in infotainment, connected vehicles, telematics, or HMI validation.
