Department Program Manager – AD/ADAS
We are looking for an experienced Department Program Manager to lead product delivery and program execution within an advanced automotive engineering environment focused on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (AD/ADAS).
In this leadership role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Technical Leaders, and cross-functional engineering teams to drive successful product deliveries, improve delivery flow, and promote a product-centric mindset. You will play a key role in coordinating multiple functions, projects, and programs while ensuring transparency, alignment, and high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate product delivery across multiple AD/ADAS functions and engineering teams.
Drive initiatives that improve delivery flow, execution, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and technical stakeholders to achieve delivery objectives.
Plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee program activities to meet strategic goals.
Monitor delivery progress, key milestones, risks, and dependencies while providing clear status updates to stakeholders.
Ensure technical decisions align with established architecture principles.
Foster collaboration across software, electronics, systems, and mechanical engineering teams.
Promote Agile ways of working and strengthen a product-centric culture.
Lead off-lifecycle development initiatives that enhance product quality and delivery performance.
Build trust through transparent communication and proactive stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
Around 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Flow Management, Release Management, or similar leadership roles.
Strong experience within the automotive industry, preferably involving AD/ADAS or embedded systems.
Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering programs.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
Technical background with hands-on engineering experience.
MSc degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Valid driving license.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with embedded software and complex automotive systems.
Strong planning, risk management, and execution capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience working in large-scale Agile organizations.
