Engine Accessories Engineer
We are looking for two Engine Accessories Engineers to join a team responsible for the development and product support of jet engine subsystems, including fuel, oil, air, and electrical systems. You will contribute to both the development of new propulsion technologies and the support of existing engine platforms.
This role offers the opportunity to work throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept development and design to verification, testing, implementation, and in-service support. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of future propulsion systems and increased electrification.
Key Responsibilities
Support product support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigations related to engines during operation, maintenance, and testing.
Participate in product development from concept through implementation, including involvement in engine testing and verification.
Contribute to the development of future propulsion systems and electrified engine subsystem technologies.
Develop and simulate subsystem models, including pumps, regulators, and related equipment using MATLAB/Simulink.
Collaborate closely with customers, end users, suppliers, and external partners.
Perform technical analysis and verification of engine subsystem performance.
Continuously expand technical expertise at both component and system levels.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering innovation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following disciplines:
Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Engineering Physics
Or a related engineering field
Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an advantage:
Aerospace or aviation industry experience.
Fuel systems and oil systems.
Hydromechanical or electrical equipment such as:
Pumps
Regulators
FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control)
Hydraulics.
Pump technology.
Bearings and gear systems.
Engine testing and verification.
Product support, troubleshooting, and technical investigations.
