We are now looking for a Fleet Monitoring and Logistics Support of Aircraft Engineer to join our engineering team.

About the Role

The department performs technical product support within Engine Systems and After Market, maintaining close collaboration with end users. The team has product support responsibility for the military aircraft engines RM12 and RM16.

The department provides product support through product monitoring, statistical follow-ups, spare parts forecasting, and other technical analyses. The work also includes providing decision support and recommendations regarding the handling and operation of engines and their components.

The team currently consists of three members and is expanding due to the increased workload related to RM12/RM16 and future challenges. The team brings extensive experience in engine systems, operational follow-ups, forecasting, and logistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, process, analyze, and present numerical data from service usage and maintenance.

• Develop existing software tools and introduce and suggest improvements.

• Participate in development projects to shape tomorrow's solutions in areas such as analytics and AI.

• Structure, and to some extent lead, work in smaller work groups.

Qualifications

• Analytically inclined with an aptitude and interest in working with data analysis, product monitoring, and logistics support.

• Relevant educational background and/or experience in similar work.

• Good experience in handling Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables and VBA coding) is a prerequisite.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Access, SQL, and programming in Python or similar is considered meritorious.

• Comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Able to contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent competence achieved through relevant experience.

• Good oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
