We are looking for an experienced Design Studio Engineer to support product development by bridging engineering and design throughout the entire product design process. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility while maintaining design intent from concept through development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support throughout all phases of the product design process, including Advanced Design and Advanced Engineering.

• Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to balance technical requirements with design objectives.

• Support studio activities and ensure accurate technical and geometrical status for physical models, mock-ups, and ergonomic bucks.

• Verify engineering and design requirements, ensuring they are understood, challenged when necessary, and effectively communicated across teams.

• Ensure design deliverables meet required technical quality standards.

• Stay up to date with engineering trends, development processes, system tools, and manufacturing methods to support innovation.

• Drive a holistic approach to integrating engineering and design requirements throughout product development.

• Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and provide expert guidance on complex engineering challenges.

• Contribute to technical roadmaps, engineering strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Design Studio Engineering, Product Development, or Automotive Engineering.

• Strong understanding of product design processes from concept to production.

• Experience supporting physical models, mock-ups, ergonomic bucks, and studio development activities.

• Excellent knowledge of engineering principles, geometric quality, and design validation.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and project coordination skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the automotive or transportation industry.

• Knowledge of CAD tools and digital product development workflows.

• Familiarity with product development methodologies and engineering system tools.

• Ability to balance design intent with engineering feasibility while driving technical excellence.
