Integration Functional Test Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Integration Functional Test Engineer to join a Software Verification team supporting the development of next-generation connected vehicles. Based in Sweden, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality and integration of complete electrical systems prior to software releases, working closely with international engineering teams across Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional verification of complete vehicle electrical systems before software releases.
Execute integration and functional testing on vehicle-level electrical and embedded software systems.
Run both directed and exploratory test cases on development and prototype vehicles.
Analyze test results, investigate issues, and debug software failures.
Develop, improve, and maintain verification methods, test procedures, and test cases.
Configure, maintain, and update vehicle test environments and prototype vehicles.
Work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, system engineers, and test leaders to identify, analyze, and resolve vehicle-level issues.
Participate in defect reporting, root cause analysis, and verification of software fixes.
Ensure testing activities meet quality standards, project milestones, and release requirements.
Collaborate with global engineering teams to support software integration and release activities.
Document test execution, findings, and verification reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive embedded systems integration or software verification.
Proven experience with vehicle integration testing and functional verification.
Hands-on experience testing complete vehicle electrical systems.
Experience executing automotive tests using development or prototype vehicles.
Good understanding of embedded software development and system integration.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Valid Swedish Category B driving licence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on vehicle development programs for automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
Experience with automotive diagnostic and logging tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA, or equivalent.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and DoIP.
Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.
Understanding of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, or software verification processes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
