We're Hiring: Design Engineer – Luggage Compartment & Interior Trim

Are you passionate about automotive product development and interior systems? We're looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join an exciting automotive project focused on Luggage Compartment & Interior Soft/Hard Trim Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop luggage compartment and interior hard & soft trim systems
• Create, modify, and maintain CATIA V5 3D models and drawings
• Perform and manage packaging studies
• Maintain engineering and product documentation
• Support technical discussions with suppliers
• Prepare and deliver production release documentation

Required Skills & Experience:
✔ BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering
✔ 5+ years of experience in automotive product development
✔ Strong hands-on experience with CATIA V5
✔ Experience using Teamcenter
✔ Knowledge of injection molded plastic design
✔ Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-ups
✔ Experience with mechanical integration and component packaging
✔ Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Experience working with Volvo Cars
⭐ Experience developing luggage compartment systems
⭐ Experience with interior soft trim and hard trim components
