OTA Release Leader
π We're Hiring: OTA Release Leader | Sweden
Are you an experienced automotive professional with expertise in Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates, SUMS compliance, and release management? We're looking for an OTA Release Leader to drive secure, compliant, and efficient software releases for next-generation connected vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Plan, coordinate, and manage OTA software release activities
β’ Ensure compliance with SUMS (UN R156) requirements
β’ Maintain software version traceability and update history
β’ Validate OTA releases against cybersecurity and functional safety standards
β’ Define and verify rollback and recovery strategies
β’ Coordinate with development, validation, and deployment teams
β’ Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
β’ Monitor OTA deployment success rates, error logs, and post-release performance
β’ Communicate release status, release notes, and compliance evidence to stakeholders
β’ Drive continuous improvement through post-release analysis and lessons learned
Required Skills & Experience:
β Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
β 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry
β Strong experience working in or closely with automotive product development projects
β Deep knowledge of OTA release processes
β Strong understanding of SUMS (UN R156) compliance
β Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards
β Experience in release planning, coordination, and dependency management
β Risk assessment and mitigation expertise
β Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
β Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
