We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Scale Consultant / Solution Architect to perform an independent review of our Manhattan Scale implementation. The objective is to assess the solution from functional, technical, architectural, and operational perspectives, evaluate cloud readiness, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to increase stability, performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Architecture Review

• Review the overall Manhattan Scale solution architecture.

• Assess the solution design against industry best practices.

• Identify architectural risks, technical debt, and unnecessary customizations.

• Review scalability, resilience, maintainability, and operational stability.

• Recommend architectural improvements and modernization opportunities.

Integration Review

Review integrations between Manhattan Scale and surrounding systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, EDI, APIs, middleware, transport systems, and other enterprise applications.

Assess:

• Integration architecture and data flows.

• Interface reliability and resiliency.

• Error handling, monitoring, and logging.

• Synchronization and operational support.

Configuration & Performance Review

• Review Manhattan Scale configuration and warehouse setup.

• Assess system performance, background processing, integrations, and operational bottlenecks.

• Identify opportunities to improve performance and scalability.

Cloud Readiness Assessment

• Assess the cloud readiness of the current solution.

• Identify migration constraints and modernization opportunities.

• Review cloud compatibility of integrations and customizations.

• Provide recommendations and a high-level cloud transformation roadmap.

Functional Review

• Review warehouse business processes from inbound to outbound.

• Assess inventory management, warehouse operations, and system configuration.

• Evaluate the implementation against Manhattan Scale best practices.

• Identify process improvements and recurring operational issues.

Required Competencies

• Extensive experience with Manhattan Scale WMS.

• Experience implementing or reviewing enterprise Manhattan Scale solutions.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and WMS best practices.

• Experience with solution architecture and enterprise integrations.

• Experience integrating Manhattan Scale with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV is an advantage).

• Experience with APIs, EDI, middleware, and distributed systems.

• Experience performing health checks, root cause analysis, and technical assessments.

• Understanding of cloud architecture and modernization strategies.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
