IT Junior Remedy/Helix Developer
We are looking for a Helix Junior Developer to join our Client team and support the design, configuration, and development of solutions on the BMC Helix platform. In this role, you will build and configure platform components by translating solution designs into working functionality. Working under the guidance and mentorship of senior developers and architects, you will strengthen your technical expertise while contributing to secure, maintainable, and production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Development & Configuration
Configure and develop BMC Helix components, including ITSM, Digital Workplace (DWP), Business Workflows (BWF), and Innovation Suite, based on approved designs and guidance from senior team members.
Implement workflows, forms, and request experiences in accordance with established platform standards, design patterns, and best practices.
Support the development and implementation of integrations between BMC Helix and surrounding systems, including DevOps tools.
Assist in bug fixing, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across Helix-based solutions.
Document configurations, customizations, and changes clearly to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Participate in code and configuration reviews to learn platform best practices and improve solution quality.
Develop a strong understanding of ITSM, ServiceOps, and IT4IT methodologies and contribute to their implementation.
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, designers, and platform teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Competencies
Mandatory Requirements
Some hands-on experience with the BMC Helix platform.
A foundation in software development, system configuration, or low-code platform development gained through studies, internships, or early professional experience.
Interest in ITSM, ServiceOps, and enterprise platforms, with a strong willingness to develop expertise in BMC Helix.
Basic understanding of integration concepts and APIs, including REST and JSON.
Exposure to scripting or workflow-based automation is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to ask questions and challenge requirements where appropriate.
Ability to document technical work in a clear, structured, and practical manner.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
