System Verification Engineer – Specialist (Embedded Systems & Telematics)
We are looking for an experienced System Verification Engineer to join a team developing next-generation connected vehicle services. You will play a key role in verifying end-to-end system functionality across embedded systems, cloud services, mobile applications, and vehicle platforms.
Working in a collaborative environment, you will ensure that connected services deliver high quality, reliability, and an excellent customer experience by validating complete user journeys across onboard, offboard, and mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end system verification for connected vehicle services on both test rigs and production vehicles.
Verify complete service flows across onboard systems, cloud platforms, customer portals, and mobile applications.
Develop and maintain test methods, verification strategies, and simulation environments.
Execute software downloads (SWDL), integration activities, and system-level validation.
Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for system defects.
Work closely with software developers, system architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure high product quality.
Validate customer use cases from both fleet management and driver perspectives.
Support continuous improvement of verification processes and testing methodologies.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in system verification of distributed embedded systems.
Strong experience in Services, Telematics, or Infotainment/Entertainment domains.
Hands-on experience performing manual end-to-end verification across:
Mobile applications
Cloud/offboard systems
Embedded onboard vehicle systems
Test rigs and physical vehicles
Experience with software integration and SWDL activities.
Knowledge of Vector CAN tools or similar automotive test frameworks.
Good working knowledge of Linux, Android, and simulation environments.
Strong debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent understanding of system-level testing and quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with connected vehicle ecosystems.
Truck driving license is considered an advantage.
Experience in Agile development environments.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and embedded software verification.
