We are looking for a highly experienced Software Developer to join the Case Enrichment initiative as part of the backend development for ActiveCare.

The assignment focuses on replacing manual processes with a more automated, integrated and predictive service landscape. The role will contribute to the development of a case enrichment service, consolidation with Predictive Diagnostic Services (PDS), and the evolution toward a more scalable and future-ready solution.

Business Context

The current ActiveCare service model relies on manual processes, manual provisioning and legacy technical solutions. The goal of this initiative is to reduce operational complexity and enable greater scalability through automation and predictive capabilities.

The work includes:

• Development of the Case Enrichment Service as part of the ActiveCare backend.

• Consolidation of Predictive Diagnostic Services (PDS) with ActiveCare.

• Evolution from PDS 2.0 toward PDS 3.0.

• Creating a common technical foundation for onboarding dealers and supporting future predictive-service growth.

• Improving automation, integration, scalability and overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications in Microsoft Azure.

• Build backend services using TypeScript and NestJS.

• Develop frontend functionality using React where required.

• Work closely and collaboratively with UX and Design teams.

• Understand business requirements and user flows and translate them into appropriate technical solutions and architecture.

• Recommend solutions considering business needs, user experience and system architecture.

• Deploy, operate and maintain applications in the Azure environment.

• Drive continuous improvements related to quality, functionality, performance and cost effectiveness.

• Take part in the rotating DevOps responsibility across the development team.

• Support application reliability and operational excellence.

• Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions.

• Present and demonstrate developed solutions to larger audiences.

• Collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders to deliver agreed commitments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.

• Proven track record as an experienced Software Developer / Application Developer.

• Experience combining Application Development and/or Software Architecture responsibilities.

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript.

• Strong experience with React for frontend development.

• Experience developing backend applications using NestJS.

• Experience working with Azure.

• Experience with query/API technologies such as GraphQL.

• Experience with software testing frameworks such as:

  • Jest

  • Cypress

• Experience with test automation.

• Understanding of application deployment, operations and maintenance.

• Ability to recommend technical solutions based on business requirements and user flows.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Valid Swedish work permit if not an EU citizen.

• Swedish language skills are considered beneficial.
