We are looking for an experienced Senior Product / S-Order Engineer to join an exciting assignment within the automotive/marine engineering industry in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will take ownership of customer-specific product adaptations, managing requests from initial customer requirements through technical development and final implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive customer-specific engineering requests from start to finish
• Translate customer requirements into technically feasible product solutions
• Evaluate technical, manufacturing, quality, and commercial feasibility
• Develop and coordinate product adaptations and design changes
• Work cross-functionally with Product Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and Engineering
• Ensure engineering documentation and design changes follow established processes
• Act as the technical focal point throughout the complete request lifecycle
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering methods, tools, and processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in design engineering, product engineering, or product development
• Strong technical understanding and a good systems perspective
• Experience working with customer-specific product adaptations or customized engineering solutions
• Experience from the automotive, marine, heavy-vehicle, powertrain, or similar manufacturing industry is highly valuable
• Proven ability to independently drive technical activities and solve complex engineering challenges
• Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder-management skills
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
• Professional proficiency in English

Experience from a major Swedish automotive, commercial-vehicle, or marine organization would be considered a strong advantage.
