We are looking for an experienced Function Owner with a strong Electrical & Electronic (E/E) engineering background to take ownership of vehicle functions throughout the development lifecycle.

The role involves close collaboration with system engineers, software and hardware teams, suppliers, testing/validation teams, and engineering teams across Europe and China. The position requires occasional business travel to China to support technical alignment, development activities, reviews, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned vehicle electrical/electronic functions.

• Define, analyze, maintain, and follow up functional and system requirements.

• Translate vehicle-level requirements into system/function requirements and technical solutions.

• Coordinate development activities across E/E systems, ECUs, embedded software, hardware, and vehicle integration.

• Act as the main technical interface for assigned functions.

• Coordinate with engineering teams and suppliers throughout concept, development, integration, verification, and release.

• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, requirement reviews, and issue-resolution activities.

• Ensure correct implementation and integration of functions at vehicle level.

• Support software/hardware integration, testing, verification and validation.

• Analyze functional issues, perform or coordinate root-cause analysis, and drive issues to closure.

• Manage requirements, changes, dependencies, interfaces, and technical documentation.

• Follow project milestones, deliveries, technical risks, and function maturity.

• Work closely with engineering teams in China and Europe, including onsite technical workshops when required.

• Support vehicle testing, troubleshooting, and release-readiness activities.

• Ensure solutions meet relevant quality, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
