We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Platform Architect / Governance Consultant to join a Digital Collaboration team and support the evolution of the Microsoft 365 platform in a large and complex enterprise environment.

This is an opportunity to complement an experienced team and contribute across architecture, governance, security, compliance, and platform development. The exact focus will depend on your background, with flexibility to shape responsibilities within the team.

What You Will Work On

Information Management & Governance

• Develop and evolve governance models for SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups.

• Address risks related to oversharing, unclear ownership, and unmanaged content.

• Improve governance structures and platform ways of working.

Security & Compliance

• Support information protection, data classification, and access-control strategies.

• Contribute to compliance, auditability, and platform risk-mitigation initiatives.

• Help strengthen security and governance across the M365 environment.

Microsoft 365 Copilot & AI

• Support the governance and evolution of Microsoft 365 Copilot and enterprise AI capabilities.

• Develop guardrails, policies, and best practices for responsible AI usage.

• Contribute to monitoring and governance of Copilot adoption.

Platform Architecture & Advisory

• Provide architectural guidance across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

• Advise service owners, engineers, architects, and stakeholders on platform capabilities and constraints.

• Support complex technical and governance decisions.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve governance, platform structure, and ways of working.

• Support ongoing digital collaboration and platform initiatives.

• Provide senior guidance while remaining hands-on where required.

What We Are Looking For

We are open to different backgrounds, but you should have strong experience in one or more of the following:

• Microsoft 365 platform architecture and design

• SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and/or Power Platform governance

• Information management and governance

• Information security, compliance, and risk management

• Data classification, lifecycle management, and access control

• Microsoft 365 Copilot or enterprise AI governance

• Large-scale and complex enterprise environments

• Working with architects, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders
