We are looking for a Senior AI & Azure Integration Engineer with a broad technical background in software development, system integration, cloud platforms, and Generative AI.

The organization is actively developing AI-supported engineering workflows and moving from local proof-of-concepts toward cloud-based AI agents. You will contribute to building the technical foundation, working methods, integrations, and cloud infrastructure needed for an increasingly AI-driven development environment.

This is a senior role requiring the ability to work independently, take ownership of solutions and quality, and translate business requirements into well-designed technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve AI-supported development workflows.

• Design and implement solutions for cloud-based AI agents.

• Create, improve, and maintain instructions, documentation, and working methods for both developers and AI agents.

• Design and develop integrations using Azure Integration Services.

• Work with Logic Apps Standard, Azure API Management, and Azure Service Bus.

• Develop backend/integration components using C# and Azure Functions or containerized applications running in Kubernetes.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows.

• Work with Terraform and scripting for infrastructure automation.

• Contribute to Azure infrastructure, including networks, subnets, gateways, and security.

• Apply secure development principles and OWASP practices.

• Work across frontend, backend, integration, and cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with platform teams, integration teams, IT stakeholders, business representatives, and external suppliers.

• Evaluate architectural alternatives and clearly communicate technical decisions based on business requirements.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the development team.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in system development, integration, and cloud platforms.

• Experience using and further developing AI-supported working methods within software development teams.

• Ability to create and manage effective instructions, documentation, and workflows for humans and AI agents.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, particularly:

  • Logic Apps Standard

  • API Management

  • Service Bus

• Strong development experience with C#, particularly using:

  • Azure Functions, and/or

  • Kubernetes/container-based applications

• Experience with CI/CD.

• Experience with GitHub workflows.

• Experience with Terraform and scripting/automation.

• Good understanding of Azure networking, including networks, subnets and gateways.

• Understanding of application and cloud security, including OWASP principles.

• Experience with frontend and/or backend web development.

• Broad understanding of Azure infrastructure and cloud architecture.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical and architectural solutions.

• Self-driven with a high level of initiative and ownership.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious Experience

The following experience would be considered an advantage:

• Integration experience within the transport, railway, mobility, or similar industry.

• Experience integrating with transport-related platforms or enterprise systems such as DUP/CI, Topas, IVU Rail, IBM Maximo, or comparable systems.

• Experience developing self-service solutions, dashboards, or AI-supported tools for business users.

• Experience with Microsoft Foundry, GitHub cloud-based agent capabilities, or similar technologies for provisioning and operating AI agents in cloud environments.

• Experience taking AI-agent solutions from proof-of-concept to production cloud environments.
