Regional Software Lead
We are looking for an experienced Regional Software Lead to own and coordinate European software and functional deliveries across multiple teams and regions. The role involves close collaboration with software, system architecture, integration, validation, project management, and international engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate European software and functional deliveries across multiple teams and regions.
Act as the primary software point of contact between European and international engineering teams.
Drive software deliverables and provide regular progress and delivery-status updates.
Ensure software components and features are delivered, integrated, and aligned with the overall software architecture.
Coordinate with System and Software Architects on implementation, updates, security, and rollback strategies.
Ensure technical feasibility, software quality, testing, milestones, and release readiness.
Consolidate software status from integration, function, and component teams.
Track software maturity, integration progress, release readiness, and OTA readiness.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, resource gaps, and delivery blockers. RFQ1400001386 Regional SW Lead
Drive software and function implementation plans, including cross-functional issue resolution and dependency management.
Coordinate activities across development, integration, validation, and project teams.
Support change-request preparation, management reporting, and project review meetings.
Align software priorities, function scope, milestones, and release plans across international teams.
Coordinate new feature requests and requirement changes through established processes.
Follow up on actions and commitments from stakeholders.
Support validation by reviewing test cases and results against functional requirements.
Provide guidance on defect resolution related to European functionality.
Report implementation progress to project management and represent software delivery status in project and management forums. RFQ1400001386 Regional SW Lead
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably within or closely connected to product development.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Proven ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and regions.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to synthesize complex technical topics and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and risk-management capabilities.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Experience with Office 365 and Jira.

Preferred Skills
Experience working with international engineering teams.
Experience coordinating software development across different geographical regions.
Experience with automotive software architecture and release processes.
Knowledge of OTA readiness and software maturity management.
Experience with CATIA and/or Teamcenter Automotive is an advantage.
