We are looking for an experienced Senior Diagnostic Engineer to support the development and maintenance of diagnostic and fault-tracing solutions for heavy-duty engines and drive systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of automotive diagnostic systems and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information and troubleshooting procedures.

• Create accurate and reliable fault-tracing documentation for service technicians.

• Verify diagnostic information through physical and virtual testing.

• Support service and repair operations with effective diagnostic solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and technical teams.

• Ensure diagnostic information meets quality and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including more than 5 years working with heavy-duty engines and/or drive systems.

• Strong practical, hands-on experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault tracing.

• Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM), technical documentation, and CAD tools.

• Understanding of workshop operations and service technician requirements.

• Experience with automotive diagnostic tools and systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostic tools such as Vodia or equivalent automotive systems.

• Experience in industrial machinery or marine applications.

• Knowledge of electromobility and electric drive systems.

• Experience developing service and repair documentation.
