We are looking for a proactive and analytical Product Quality Assurance Engineer to join our automotive engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving customer quality issues affecting products already in the market. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, product development, and service-market teams to ensure effective corrective actions, prevent recurring issues, and continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, experience in quality investigations, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities to deliver sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer quality issues at an early stage through analysis of statistical data, market reports, and customer feedback.

• Initiate and coordinate investigations into customer-reported product quality concerns.

• Develop and implement temporary containment measures to minimize the impact of quality issues in the market.

• Drive the development and implementation of permanent corrective solutions.

• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure that quality issues do not recur.

• Monitor ongoing quality investigations and communicate progress, risks, and resolution status to relevant service-market stakeholders.

• Facilitate lessons-learned activities and support continuous product quality improvements.

• Coordinate cross-functional quality investigations involving engineering, product development, quality, and service organizations.

• Lead or support the Quality Journal process, ensuring proper issue documentation, follow-up, and closure.

• Maintain accurate quality records, investigation reports, and corrective-action documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within automotive product quality, customer quality, or quality assurance.

• Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving technical quality issues.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret quality data and technical reports.

• Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective-action processes.

• Ability to work independently with general supervision.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive manufacturing, commercial vehicles, or vehicle product development.

• Experience with field-quality investigations, warranty analysis, customer complaints, or service-market quality issues.

• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Familiarity with containment actions, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and quality improvement methodologies.

• Experience working with cross-functional quality teams and external suppliers.

• Familiarity with Quality Journal systems or similar quality issue-management processes.

• Experience analyzing quality KPIs, failure trends, and statistical reports.
