Validate emission measurement and test results, investigating discrepancies and supporting corrective actions.
Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, availability, and maintenance efficiency.
Plan daily maintenance activities and coordinate work tasks with relevant engineering and testing teams.
Liaise with suppliers to book service resources, order spare parts, and coordinate maintenance and service contracts.
Support troubleshooting, equipment servicing, and resolution of technical issues.
Maintain maintenance records, service documentation, and relevant technical information.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Support cost optimisation and efficient use of maintenance resources.
Assist with the evaluation and procurement of replacement equipment, spare parts, and technical systems when required.
Follow applicable safety procedures when working with test equipment and gas-handling systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience in maintenance engineering, equipment servicing, engine systems, or industrial technical operations.
Practical troubleshooting skills and an understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Ability to plan maintenance activities and coordinate technical work.
Experience working with suppliers, spare parts, service resources, or maintenance contracts.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to measurement accuracy and equipment reliability.
Ability to work independently with general supervision and collaborate effectively with a technical team.
Good communication, organisational, and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with internal combustion engines and engine test cells.
Familiarity with emission measurement equipment and gas-handling systems.
Experience with test-cell correlation and validation of measurement results.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, and root cause analysis.
Experience in maritime engineering, engine maintenance, or mechatronics.
Experience in continuous improvement and maintenance cost optimisation.
