About the role

You will design, implement, maintain and improve network services supporting corporate, manufacturing and digital operations. Your work will help maintain business-critical connectivity, reduce operational risk and modernize the network environment.

Your responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, internet connectivity and remote-access solutions.

• Manage routing, switching, network segmentation, enterprise firewalls and access controls.

• Implement and support IPSec, SSL, Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN solutions.

• Support connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS, Azure and Alibaba Cloud environments.

• Monitor availability, performance and capacity; troubleshoot incidents and carry out root-cause analysis.

• Perform upgrades, vulnerability remediation, patching, network hardening and infrastructure lifecycle activities.

• Support high-availability architectures, redundancy, disaster recovery and business-continuity testing.

• Maintain DNS, DHCP, IP address management and related network services, including load balancing.

• Produce network diagrams, configuration documentation, standards and operational procedures.

• Coordinate migrations, infrastructure projects and site expansions with service partners and vendors.

• Contribute to network automation and operational efficiency.

• Participate in on-call duties and critical incident support when required.

Your background

We are looking for someone with:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent relevant experience.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in network engineering, network operations, infrastructure engineering or a comparable technical role.

• Proven experience managing enterprise networks and business-critical connectivity.

• Strong hands-on routing and switching experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei or equivalent technologies.

• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise firewalls, VPNs and network-security solutions.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP and NAT.

• Experience managing LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, internet-edge and remote-access environments.

• Experience with IPSec, SSL, Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs.

• Strong understanding of network security, segmentation, Zero Trust concepts, intrusion prevention and access management.

• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA or equivalent firewall platforms.

• Experience supporting hybrid-cloud connectivity with AWS, Azure and/or Alibaba Cloud.

• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.

Additional advantages

• CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE or equivalent certifications.

• Experience in automotive, R&D or complex multi-site enterprise environments.

• Network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar tools.

• Experience with monitoring, observability and network-performance platforms.

• Knowledge of ITIL incident, problem and change-management processes.

• Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity and high-availability design.

• Ability to explain technical risks and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Professional proficiency in written and/or spoken Mandarin Chinese.
