KAM– Data Integration & Big Data

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) – Data Integration & Big Data to drive business development, manage strategic customer and supplier relationships, and support data integration initiatives within our Cloud Platform & Data Cloud organization.

The ideal candidate will combine strong business development and account management capabilities with a good understanding of Big Data, cloud technologies, APIs and data integration solutions.

This role will act as a key link between business stakeholders, technology teams, external suppliers and clients, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions. The position also involves close collaboration between European and Chinese teams to support cross-regional business activities and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development and strategic account management for Big Data and Data Integration initiatives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, technology suppliers and external business partners.

• Identify customer and business requirements related to data management, data exchange and integration solutions.

• Coordinate with internal engineering, cloud platform and data teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on business and data integration matters.

• Manage commercial discussions, contract negotiations, supplier agreements and partnership development.

• Support business planning, account strategies, project coordination and delivery follow-ups.

• Identify new business opportunities and explore potential partnerships within the data and cloud ecosystem.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between European and Chinese stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress, resolve business-related challenges and ensure alignment between customer expectations and technical deliverables.

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure supplier and client data requirements are clearly understood and addressed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, Supplier Management, Project Coordination or IT Business Management.

• Experience managing customer, supplier or technology partner relationships.

• Understanding of Big Data, cloud platforms, data integration, APIs and data management concepts.

• Ability to understand business requirements and communicate them effectively to technical teams.

• Experience in commercial negotiations, contract management and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong experience working with cross-functional and international teams.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.

• Experience in the automotive, connected vehicle, cloud or technology industry is preferred.

Technical Understanding

A basic understanding of the following areas is expected:

• Big Data platforms and data management concepts.

• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.

• Data integration, data exchange and interoperability.

• REST APIs, API integration and data connectivity.

• Data suppliers, external data sources and client data requirements.

• Data governance, data quality and data security fundamentals.
